feature request: move some symbol classes to their own namespaces

Would it be possible to create separate namespaces for routing table,
protocol and template symbols?  Or maybe one for routing table symbols and
another for both protocol and template symbols?

Currently, everything is in the same namespace, so you cannot have a numeric
constant and a routing table with the same name, etc.
