Patch to output JSON from BIRD

Hi folks,

I've attached a patch which outputs JSON from BIRD - this is used to save
some cycles - where previously we converted to JSON externally, this patch
enables output directly in JSON.

This is based on bird-1.6.3_4 (from FreeBSD ports)
