It is true that reconfiguration of 'default bgp_local_pref' could be done<br>
in a better way by just reloading routes. But the primary way to set<br>
bgp_local_pref is by using filters - '{ bgp_local_pref = 40; accept; }',<br>
you can change that and reconfigure, BIRD would just reload routes.<br>
