Hi, I added the upstream repo (deb http://bird.network.cz/debian/ stretch main) because bird2 is not in the debian one (even with sid!) and I need flowspec. https://bird.network.cz/?get_doc&v=16&f=bird-6.html never mentions RFC5575 while https://bird.network.cz/?get_doc&v=20&f=bird-6.html does. But I’m still stuck with bird1: root@hv01:~# apt policy bird bird: Installed: 1.6.4-1+0~20180515164830.3+stretch~1.gbpe9ef50 Candidate: 1.6.4-1+0~20180515164830.3+stretch~1.gbpe9ef50 Version table: *** 1.6.4-1+0~20180515164830.3+stretch~1.gbpe9ef50 500 500 http://bird.network.cz/debian stretch/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1.6.3-2 500 500 http://mirror.grifon.fr/debian stretch/main amd64 Packages So, what’s the best way to get bird2 on debian without compiling it on each server? Thanks, -- Alarig

As I see from here, this repo only contains 1.6.4

It looks like for now, you'd need to build the deb package yourself. That's what I do. Eugene
