Hello Here is a patch for building BIRD in OpenWRT buildsystem. I hope it will be merged to OpenWRT soon. (package names are bird4, birdc4, bird6 and birdc6, not just bird). -- Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo Ondrej 'SanTiago' Zajicek (email: santiago@crfreenet.org) OpenPGP encrypted e-mails preferred (KeyID 0x11DEADC3, wwwkeys.pgp.net) "To err is human -- to blame it on a computer is even more so."
Thanks! works fine here on a fresh checkout of OpenWRT Kamikaze 8.09.1. Maybe you want to add this to the bird4{6} Makefile: define Package/$(PKG_NAME)/conffiles /etc/bird4{6}.conf endef This will prevent the conffile to be overwritten on an update. Further I wonder whether you need the subdir 'net' in "packages/net/bird/Makefile" ? I found all my packages directly in 'packages/<pkgname>'. But I might be wrong. Hello. Sorry for a late answer. Merging process into OpenWRT seems to stalled, i will try push it more after upcoming 1.2.0 release.
Hi! Today OpenWRT Backfire 10.03 has been released. Maybe a good time to have another try? Greetings, Jann

Great. I hope it will appear as a standard package with the OpenWRT backfire 10.03.1 release.
