is it possible to share routing information retrieved by one protocol with other protcol ? say my router runs both RIP and OSPF, is it possible to broadcast information retrieved by RIP, through the OSPF protocol ?

Hi! Sure it is not a problem. You can export RIP route to OSPF and reverse. I just depends on configuration of your filters. Ondrej
