Hi, I'm running two Linux Quagga servers and two BIRD servers inside an OSPF backbone area (brodcast network). The BIRD serveres are running on a FreeBSD 8.1 system with the 1.2.4 BIRD version. The BIRDs are also configured to run a Direct, Kernel, Device, Static and BGP protocol. Unfortunatelly, once a day both the BIRD daemons are crashing at the same time, probably caused by a bug in the OSPF protocol. There are now D.J.B's daemontools supervising the BIRD's processes to overcome the crashes. I can provide you with the BIRD / Quagga logs and a core dump file, if necessary. Thanks for your help. Best regards, -- Petr Bradac AVONET, s.r.o.

Hi,
Hi Petr, yes, please send me (privately not to the list) your BIRD binary, core dump file and possibly the configuration file. Ondrej
