Hi there. I have started selling bandwidth in a data center, using bird as my main router, and it's working well. I need to put in a redundant router though, and so was starting to look into that. I'm just curious if there are any special considerations / examples of setting up VRRP on a bird router running BGP / BGPv6?

I guess you could just use independent software for VRRP (which would be, i suppose, used just on downstream ifaces for clients/servers with static default route). -- Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo Ondrej 'SanTiago' Zajicek (email: santiago@crfreenet.org) OpenPGP encrypted e-mails preferred (KeyID 0x11DEADC3, wwwkeys.pgp.net) "To err is human -- to blame it on a computer is even more so."
