Yes, in the branch mrtdump (https://gitlab.labs.nic.cz/labs/bird/network/mrtdump) is already prepared a completed implementation of TABLE_DUMP_V2 type (RIB) dumps support.

Don't worry about this. On BGP4MP type (BGP UPDATE) dumps will nothing change. Both BGP4MP type dumps and TABLE_DUMP_V2 type dumps will be supported independently on each other. Best, Pavel
