I have just installed BIRD in Linux machine because rightnow I am able to see only bird.conf in /etc/bird.conf ini linux OS. This mate help, its shows what cisco commands are equivalent in BIRD.

show route ~ show ip route show protocols ~ sh ip bgp summary show protocols all <protocol neighbour name> ~ sh ip bgp neighbor

To get access to the CLI do

sudo birdc

from there you can enter commands.
