bird 1.6 radv IPv6 Prefix-Delegation
Can I configure IPv6 prefix delegation with radv protocol? I could not find in the documentation how to do this. I have allocated the /48 subnet to the customer and I want to assign the first /64 to the WAN link (for communication between my router and the client's router), and give the remaining subnets to the client router.

No, you need DHCPv6 for prefix delegation. But even with DHCPv6, you still need radv for default gateway announcement. -- Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo Ondrej 'Santiago' Zajicek (email: santiago@crfreenet.org) OpenPGP encrypted e-mails preferred (KeyID 0x11DEADC3, wwwkeys.pgp.net) "To err is human -- to blame it on a computer is even more so."
