Unknown LSA type from x.x.x.x
Running BIRD v1.4.4 I'm seeing a lot of these error messages: bird: Unknown LSA type from x.x.x.x Is this anything to worry about? I don't see any issues affecting BIRD, but it is filling up log files. -- Eric Cables

Probably not, although the other side should not send the LSA if BIRD not signalized that it support relevant extension. Could you check what OSPF implementation is the other side and which LSA is it (e.g. by tcpdump or enabling logging of packets for OSPF)? -- Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo Ondrej 'Santiago' Zajicek (email: santiago@crfreenet.org) OpenPGP encrypted e-mails preferred (KeyID 0x11DEADC3, wwwkeys.pgp.net) "To err is human -- to blame it on a computer is even more so."
