Do you *not* consider iBGP an IGP? Because this would explain why the paragraph regarding recursive doesn't work for us: "Recursive mode means that the gateway is computed by an IGP routing table lookup for the IP address from bgp_next_hop." -- Modern, affordable, Swiss Virtual Machines.
