Hello, the option you want to use is `graceful restart time <number>` as cited from the documentation at https://bird.network.cz/?get_doc&v=20&f=bird-6.html#bgp-graceful-restart-tim...: |graceful restart time /number/| The restart time is announced in the BGP Graceful Restart capability and specifies how long the neighbor would wait for the BGP session to re-establish after a restart before deleting stale routes. Default: 120 seconds And possibly these additional options: |min graceful restart time /number/| The lower bound for the graceful restart time to override the value received in the BGP Graceful Restart capability announced by the neighbor. Default: no lower bound. |max graceful restart time /number/| The upper bound for the graceful restart time to override the value received in the BGP Graceful Restart capability announced by the neighbor. Default: no upper bound. Hope this helps! David On 1/10/25 04:05, 이재용 wrote:
Hello,
We use BIRD for communication with servers with higher-level switches. In our config , there is config to set graceful restart like below.
protocol bgp example2 { import all; export all;
...
graceful restart on; }
As far as I know, the default value for graceful restart is 120 seconds. But I don't know how to change this time. Please give me some advice on this. Thank you.
