      Hi Maria,

After trial and error, I managed to get rid of the bird startup errors. 
At this point I am looking for validation of the configs ( are the below 
1.6 and 2.0 equivalent ? )

Aargh, I messed up the reply.
Please send the 1.6 config and 2.0 config and what is wrong. We can't
