BIRD & production BGP? -- Thanks

Hello all.

Thanks for the replies to my question -- not seeing nearly as much traffic
here as on the Zebra list, I was concerned that no-one was using it in
a production environment.

Does anyone have an opinion on how Bird compares to Zebra? And as far as
developer support, the Bird team seems fairly small (but quite competent).
Are issues dealt with well, or is it a self supported type arrangement?

I'm comfortable programming and debugging in C, but it would be nice to
know there's a good support network as well. And considering one of
the machines we're proposing to use this on will be quite some distance
away, we'd obviously like to have a stable system.

Best regards.

-Chris
