i would like to filter route which last as is 4134 or the second last AS is 4134. the following command only show second last AS is 4134: show route where (bgp_path ~ [= * 4134 ? =] how can i do it? -- Peng Yong

Hi, I'm trying to transition a config from 1.6.3 to 2.0.1. 1. What's the pendant to protocol kernel { kernel table 42; scan time 45; [...] } "kernel table" produces a syntax error. 2. without "kernel table", I get bird started, but it rejects configured BGP connections: HE: Incoming connection from 2001:7f8:33::a100:6939:1 (port 8002) rejected Config for HE: protocol bgp 'HE' { neighbor 2001:7f8:33::a100:6939:1 as 6939; local 2001:7f8:33::a120:5298:1 as 205298; ipv6 { import all; export filter my_net; }; } I compared this part with the example config and have no clue why the sessions get rejected. The mailing list archive at http://bird.network.cz/pipermail/bird-users/ is not properly serving pages, it is forcing the browser to download each html page visited because the content type is being set to application/x-httpd-php instead of text/html.

Cannot block flows with BGP FlowSpec

Hello team, In my lab setup I have configured a BIRD v2.0.1 VM to peer with an ExaBGP VM via eBGP. I'm using ExaBGP to send FlowSpec rules to BIRD. BIRD correctly lists the received rules when running 'show route table flowtab4' but the respective flows are not affected (i.e. drop traffic to a destination prefix). Is this because of a configuration issue on my side or BIRD does not implement the required FlowSpec actions? Thank you in advance! Best regards, Giorgos

how to specify pid file ? (for newsyslog)

hi, on freebsd I need to specify pid file in order to send a signal to rotate log: /etc/newsyslog.conf: /var/log/bird.log 600 7 100 @0101T JC /var/run/bird.pid SIGHUP ... is there a way to write a pid to file ? I haven't found any Cheers, Ilya Shipitsin
